From its headquarters in Volendam, KRAS is an international company whose activities extend across several countries. Having started out in 1951 with an old delivery bicycle that was used for collecting rags and scrap metal, the company has grown into the KRAS GROUP holding, with five independent operating companies. First and foremost, KRAS provides full-service solutions that enable companies to process their waste streams (paper, cardboard, foils and plastics) and its waste processing services serve the Benelux, French and German markets. 

In addition, KRAS makes the collected waste suitable for reuse or processes it into raw materials for new products. The sale of these semi-finished products forms the company’s second core activity. As a result of its detailed knowledge of the market and the extensive network it has built up over the last sixty years, KRAS' third activity is the transit trade of raw materials and semi-finished products. KRAS trades with and sells to parties worldwide.
